The inborn need to paint, plus a drop or two of gypsy blood, seem to dictate my life these days.  I am in love with the land and portraying it in oil is a feast.  My background in creating museum dioramas helpful fuel this…as those years gave me an unusual vantage point and an excuse to travel.  I’m addicted to the landscape, and the excitement of new horizons is always beckoning.

My oils, block prints and watercolors feed on each other.  Inspiration and technique from one is constantly surfacing in another.  Common threads between media seem to be layers of surprise, color and texture.  These are elements I so enjoy in nature, try to capture, and love to share.  I hope you enjoy them, too.
